Job Description
As a Management Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact advisory work for senior government stakeholders.
* Leading structured problem-solving across complex policy and strategic challenges
* Conducting economic, policy and regulatory analysis
* Developing strategic recommendations and advisory reports for senior decision-makers
* Supporting the design and implementation of major government initiatives
* Engaging directly with departmental leadership and senior policy stakeholders
* Working closely with highly experienced advisors including former departmental and defence leaders
* Unlike large consulting firms, you will have direct exposure to clients and senior decision-makers from day one.
The Successful Applicant
This role is well suited to consultants currently working in:
* Big 4 consulting firms
* Tier-1 strategy firms
* Public sector advisory practices
We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in:
* Government and public sector consulting
* Infrastructure, energy or climate policy
* Economic policy and regulatory advisory
* Defence or national security projects
* Health or social policy reform
You will bring:
* Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability
* Excellent written communication and briefing skills
* Ability to operate comfortably in ambiguous and complex environments
* A genuine interest in shaping public policy outcomes
