Job Description
Delivery Driver – Esperance Fresh Food Pty Ltd t/as Esperance Fresh Food IGA is a premier grocery retailer offering a wide range of fresh produce, packaged goods, and other household essentials. We are focused on providing high-quality products and personalized service to the local community. We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to support our customers.
Location: Esperance, WA 6450
Annual Remuneration: $68,864 to $75,000 p.a. plus superannuation
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
Key Responsibilities
* Plan routes.
* Manoeuvre the vehicle for loading.
* Drive vehicle safely ensuring goods are secure.
* Assist with loading, ensuring goods are arranged for easy delivery and secured to prevent damage.
* Verify delivery dockets before departure.
* Carry out unloading at customer locations, obtain proof of delivery, and confirm completion.
* Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs promptly.
* Collect payments for deliveries when required and record transactions.
Requirements
* AQF Certificate II or III or at least one year of relevant experience in lieu of a qualification.
* At least 6 to 12 months of full time or part time equivalent experience as delivery driver.
* Current driver's license and clean driving record.
* Ability to use navigation tools.
* Physically fit to assist with loading and unloading.
* Dependable, punctual, and customer focused.
* Flexible availability, including weekends, public holidays and busy periods.
