About this role
We are looking for a Senior Manager with strong tax technical knowledge to lend their expertise and client focus to a Tax Advisory role, as part of our wider Brisbane Private Enterprise team. Working directly with a highly accomplished and well-known tax expert Partner, this opportunity is suited to a self‐driven individual looking to propel their career to the next level, build their own brand and leverage business development skills on a clear pathway to Partnership.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio consisting of a variety of large privately‐owned businesses and their owners, collaborating with other teams across the firm nationally.
* Build close working relationships with clients, offering proactive, practical solutions to the various challenges they face.
* Develop and implement commercial structures to assist clients in achieving their business and personal goals.
* Develop and inspire a team of Associates and Senior Associates.
* Engage in business development activities to enhance your portfolio and build the specialisation you wish to develop.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualification(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or another relevant professional or overseas qualification.
* CA / CPA qualified, or other relevant industry accreditation.
* Strong Australian tax technical knowledge and experience.
* Diverse business advisory experience (including private business and high‐net‐worth clients), leading the delivery of high‐quality, robust strategic projects.
* Highly‐developed interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to collaboratively work with and influence stakeholders at all levels of client organisations.
* Significant people‐management and leadership capabilities, with genuine care for your people.
