The Role
As a valuable member of the IPF Nutrient Advantage laboratory, this role will be to conduct laboratory techniques and efficiently generate quality, analytical results in a safe manner within time and cost objectives.
In addition, you will also be responsible for:
1. Compliance with health and safety
2. Conducting laboratory testing of nutrients in agricultural and environmental soil, plant and water samples
3. Reviewing and reporting results
4. Compliance with the laboratory quality system
5. Identify productivity, quality and safety improvement opportunities and assist in their implementation
About You
Reporting to the Laboratory Team Leaders, you will ideally have at least 1 years’ experience in a laboratory environment.
To be successful in this role you will have the following competencies:
6. Tertiary qualification in Science (Chemistry preferred but not essential)
7. Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an analytical testing role
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
9. Intermediate level Microsoft Excel and Word ability
10. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
11. Good time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
