Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Full-Time, Resource Optimization & Compliance Officer to join our Telecommunications team!
About the Role
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time Location: Melbourne, VIC Reporting Line: PMO ManagerPositioned within Service Stream’s Operational Support Services, the Resource Optimisation, and Compliance Officer role is to action the day-to-day process of companies and resource to ensure resources are complaint and operational ready in a timely manner. This role’s objective is also to work with operational teams to ensure resources are optimized across all contracts. Responsibilities
1. Complete the day-to-day operations and ongoing activities of the of the Resource Optimisation and Compliance Team to facilitate the recruitment, on boarding and ongoing compliance of companies and subcontractors and their accreditation, insurances, inductions, and OH&S requirements.
2. Manage the operational activities related to nbn SPOC for sub-contractors.
3. Understand and process any changes to compliance which have come via the Governance process to ensure all compliance roles are align to all Australian Industry standards.
4. Attend various daily operational stand-ups to drive prioritisation, minimums operational delivery risk, and mitigate any escalation of activities through building relations both internal and external
5. Assist and communicate with operational and development teams to ensure all reporting requirements of the compliance data base are visible and meet operational needs
6. Ensure and contribute to the on-time delivery of client-based reporting
7. Attend any required internal and external training on required applications
8. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all parties: internal, client and external field, to proactively understand any emerging trends, concerns, forthcoming demand, skill, or regional gaps.
9. Ensure all written and automated communication is professional and up to date.
10. Assist the Resource Optimisation and Compliance Manager in procurement activities for all Operational projects and services.
11. Conducting business to the highest standard and in line with the Service Stream Core Values.
12. Develop strong working and collaborative relationships with the Operational Support Services management team to ensure knowledge, impacts and delivery strategy of the workforce are continuously aligned
About You
13. Experience in compliance/project coordination is required
14. Experience working in an operational team with structured processes
15. Excellent computer skills
