We are an expanding construction company based in Gregory Hills, and we're looking for an experienced residential Construction Estimator/Administrator to join our growing team.
This is a full-time, on-site role offering an exciting opportunity to work closely with our project and site teams across multiple stages of residential construction.
Key Responsibilities:
General office administration and support to the construction team.
Assist project manager / site supervisor with project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
Maintain subcontractor agreements and files with relevant documentation.
Handle data entry, workflow management, and maintain customer files with up-to-date documentation.
Support the project manager / site supervisor with day-to-day project administration to ensure projects progress smoothly and on schedule.
Maintain and organise all project-related documents (contracts, drawings, correspondence).
Act as the main point of contact between the site supervisor, site teams, and subcontractors, providing regular progress updates.
Coordinating with trades and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and updates.
Assist in estimating and controlling residential project costs, including maintaining and updating labour and material price lists.
Read and interpret building plans to prepare accurate cost estimates in collaboration with internal teams.
Prepare quotes and pricing for construction variations.
About You:
Previous experience in a Construction Administrator / Estimator, or Project Support role.
Strong understanding of the construction process and project coordination.
Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Experience with estimating software and project management systems will be highly regarded (preferably Onsite Companion).
