About the role
We are looking for a motivated, results-driven and proactive Finance Assistant to join our Finance team for 4-5 days per week. The Finance Assistant will process financial data efficiently and accurately, with an expectation of learning, embracing, and contributing to all aspects of the finance function.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Journals and Transfers
- Payroll
- Credit Card reconciliation
- Assisting with Trust Account audits
- Back-up Finance Team support and other finance-related tasks
About you
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Knowledge of and compliance with Legal Practitioners Trust Accounting Regulations
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in a similar role
- Confidence in prioritising tasks and managing conflicting deadlines
- A commitment to ongoing learning and development
- Previous LexisNexis Affinity experience is highly regarded
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proven ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced work environment
- Proven experience in developing professional relationships with colleagues, internal and external clients
