The opportunity
Run your own smaller projects and client relationships, with technical oversight and support from experienced senior engineers
Soon lead and manage another less experienced engineer
Report to a Team Principal and work closely with Project Managers and drafting teams
Own detailed design, documentation quality, shop drawing reviews and site support across industrial, logistics and commercial projects

You'll
Have 3-6 years of structural engineering experience
Deliver clear, buildable structural design and documentation across steel, concrete and footing systems, keeping design intent aligned from calculations through to model and drawings
Take ownership of engineering delivery on assigned projects, including detailed design, detailing decisions, document coordination outcomes and disciplined QA before issue
Run your own smaller projects and support mid sized and larger projects within a strong team structure, with senior technical oversight where needed
Review shop drawings, respond to site queries, assist with inspections and communicate clearly with builders, fabricators and clients
Maintain organised project records and contribute to continuous improvement of standards, templates and engineering resources. These are all core parts of the Structural Engineer role playbook.
You bring
Solid experience in structural design, ideally within industrial, logistics or commercial projects
Strength across structural steelwork, slabs, lateral systems and footing design
Confidence with shop drawing reviews, site support and practical construction stage problem solving
Strong professional skills including project and time management, clear communication, client relationship building, QA discipline and good judgement around when to escalte for senior input
A desire to take real ownership of projects and outcomes, without needing to step immediately into full people leadership
CPEng or RPEQ progression is valued, but not essential depending on your experience level
$85k - $115k + super + bonuses (depending on experience)
