We're looking for a committed Permanent Part TimePersonal Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Baw Baw Views, Moe, VIC, where you'll help our residents feel valued, supported, and at home.

About the role

The successful candidate will become a valued member of our supportive care team, providing high-quality personal care, support, and assistance to residents. Working under the direction and guidance of our senior clinical team, you will help ensure each resident receives the respectful care they deserve.


Key Responsibilities:

* Provide personal care to assist residents to maintain independence and dignity with respect to activities of daily living and lifestyle.
* Assist clients with personal care, grooming, hygiene, and mobility
* Support daily living needs including meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping
* Provide companionship and help clients stay socially and emotionally engaged
* Monitor clients' wellbeing and promptly report any changes or concerns
* Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment
* Communicate effectively and maintain accurate, confidential care documentation


Requirements

Essential:

* Relevant Certificate III Qualification.
* Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
* NDIS check (or ability to acquire).
* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable:

* Experience in residential aged care.

To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
