Job Description:
Tesla Motors is seeking a skilled Parts Advisor to join its team on the Sunshine Coast. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a world-class service team supporting the latest electric vehicle technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer customer calls, emails, and drive-ins with the highest level of response and attention
Return missed phone calls and emails promptly
Receive stock, pick, ship, and transact materials inventory to support vehicle service needs
Accurately record parts transactions and data into Dealer Management Systems
Conduct transactions with systems, walk customers through orders, and provide summaries
Escalate issues that need to be addressed, correct inbound packaging issues from internal and external suppliers
Maintain records of time, expenses, and materials
Communicate estimated parts shipment and arrival times, including regular updates
Follow up with customers on parts orders and ensure complete satisfaction
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in vehicle maintenance and repair
Understanding of basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles
Experience in automotive equipment and servicing methods
Proficiency in DMS Systems, SAP, MS Office Suite
1-3 years' experience in the automotive industry
Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to follow instructions required
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public
Maintain and perform top-level professional integrity and appearance as a Parts Advisor
Dealer automotive service experience a plus
