About the Role
Exciting opportunity for Assistant Town Planner to join a growing and well-established land development team delivering residential and rural l subdivision projects across Western Australia.
This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional looking to develop their career while working alongside experienced planners and project teams on multiple subdivision developments.
In this role, you will assist in the coordination and delivery of up to 10 subdivision projects at various stages of the development lifecycle, ensuring approvals, servicing requirements and stakeholder communications are managed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the management and coordination of residential subdivision projects.
* Liaise with key stakeholders including Water Corporation, Landgate, local councils, consultants and service authorities.
* Monitor project milestones and approval timeframes.
* Coordinate subdivision clearances and compliance requirements.
* Assist with planning applications, documentation and statutory approvals.
* Work closely with surveyors, engineers and project managers to support project delivery.
* Maintain accurate project records and reporting.
* Respond to stakeholder enquiries and provide project updates where required.
About You
* Degree or qualification in Urban and Regional Planning, Town Planning or a related discipline.
* Previous experience within town planning, land development or subdivision projects is desirable.
* Understanding of the Western Australian planning framework.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and general project administration systems.
