Job Description

* Salary $73,150 to $77,515 per year plus superannuation
* Based in Noosa Heads QLD
We seek a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Front Office Duty Manager within our company.
Your Responsibilities
1. Manage the Hotel Front Office operation to establish a reputation for excellence
2. Effectively supervise all guest arrivals and departures, ensuring room allocations and check-in/check-out processes adhere to established procedures and prioritize customer satisfaction
3. Provide guests with local tourism information and arrange tours and transportation as needed
4. Liaise daily with the Reservations office to ensure accuracy in room allocation and maximize yield
5. Utilize the Front Office system accurately, producing reports to meet operational needs
6. Liaise regularly with Maintenance to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests, focusing on guest needs
7. Assist in the night audit function in conjunction with the Financial Controller, prioritizing accuracy and customer focus
8. Contribute to the preparation of Front Office monthly reports
9. Ensure public areas remain clean and well-presented through regular monitoring
10. Evaluate and improve customer satisfaction
11. Induct new staff into the team, department, and Hotel during their first week of employment, adhering to guidelines. Ensure all staff under your supervision perform duties according to Brand and Service References and Procedures Manuals
12. Maintain compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Requirements
* Minimum of two years' experience in hotel or motel management
* Diploma in Hotel or Motel Management (preferable but not mandatory)
* Strong leadership skills, enabling quick and effective decision-making
* A customer-focused mindset, prioritizing outstanding guest experiences
* Tech-savvy and adaptable to new systems and platforms
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven
