My client is a leader in their industry, you will be joining a reputable large organisation in a key leadership position. This role is accountable for the effective management and control of the Credit function & partnering with the various key stakeholders.
This role is being offered on a permanent full time basis, you will ideally have team management experience along with working in a larger organisation.
This role is responsible for leading performance and engagement within the Accounts Receivable / Credit team, and collaboration within the Business Services team, so that they maintain a strong customer service model and support environment.
Based in Macquarie Park / North Ryde area, my client offers on-site parking for the days you will be at the office, along with hybrid working.
**REM**: $119,000 + super + bonus.
**SAP **experience preferred.
**Role overview**
- Leading a sizeable team in a high transactional volume processing environment
- Ensuring internal controls and policy & procedures are observed in meeting business demands
- Coaching and managing team capability
- Drive team engagement and provide energy, setting the daily operating rhythm of the team with visible KPIs
- Monthly ledger reviews
- Ensure identified exposure is escalated appropriately
- Monthly Internal and External Reporting
- Actively supports internal and external audit reviews
**Experience Required**
- Experience working as a Credit / AR / Collections Team Lead, Supervisor or 2IC
- Experience in people management, performance reviews & guidance
- Happy to be hands on in respect of ledger management when required
- Experience in high $ value ledgers & accounts
- Credit risk management skills
- SAP experience (preferred)
- Monthly reporting and month end close
- Ability to liaise and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
