Frontline Equipment Maintenance is seeking to hire experienced Field Service technicians, mechanical and electrical, to join our team in Queensland. As a full-time Field Service technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy mining equipment, including excavators, haul trucks, and other mobile plant and machinery. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to work on a variety of complex equipment in the mining and resources industry.
What you'll be doing
* Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a range of heavy mining equipment and machinery
* Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal performance and reliability
* Liaise with clients and managers to ensure timely completion of all work
* Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken
* Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
* Provide on-site technical support and advice to clients as required
What we're looking for
* Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Auto-Electrician or equivalent
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Current driver's licence and ability to operate heavy machinery
* Willingness to work in a remote location and travel to mine sites as required
* Must reside within Australia
