FS Alliance is a Registered Training Organisation founded in 2002 (RTO 30814 – Food Safety Operations (QLD) Pty Ltd) operating predominately in Queensland, with training throughout the state and at times nationally and internationally.
FS Alliance is focused on delivering quality training outcomes to the Meat, Food and Laboratory industries, including a wide range of customised training services for on and off-site delivery.
About the Role
We are seeking a Trainer and Assessor within the Meat Retail and/or Abattoir Sector who has had RTO experience for food services - especially meat retail, and/or abattoir sector disciplines to join our FS Alliance team on a Full Time Basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of highly practical, client focused training to our key clients across all of Queensland.
Responsibilities and Requirements
We are keen to meet with candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Mandatory Requirements : TAE 40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent / willing to obtain or currently obtaining)
- Ability to use Microsoft Tools to a high standard
- Proficiency in the full Office Suite at an advanced level including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other applications
- Current driver's license
- Qualification/s in Meat Processing (Particularly Certificate III in Retail Butchery)
- Current Blue Card or the ability to obtain
- Experience in meat retail/wholesale operations or abattoir sector disciplines
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in meat retail/wholesale operations or abattoir sector disciplines is required
- Ability to travel. Regular weekly travel is required for this position
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this role
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Proven work experience in facilitating workplace training and/or RTO training applications
- A minimum of 12 months training and assessing experience
- Creating, building, and maintaining strong relationships at all levels.
- Exceptional leadership, project management and organisational skills.
- Problem solving and influencing project outcomes.
- Adapting to diverse environments and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to develop and maintain workplace relationships.
- The ability to work in diverse workplace environments.
