Expression of interest: Senior Control Systems Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of technical solutions, assisting in presales activities, and providing technical input throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires effective communication across the organization to ensure high technical standards and efficient delivery of work. The Senior Engineer will also mentor junior team members, manage projects autonomously, and contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, systems, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Development and execution of technical solutions and assisting in presales activities;
Technical input in the systematic initiation, execution, reporting and close-out of projects within area of specialisation;
Effective communication across entire organisation to ensure work is delivered efficiently to a high technical standard making best use of past projects, templates, procedures, standards and codes of practice;
Mentoring junior team members and encouraging innovation, creativity, development and deployment of technical solutions;
Manage and execute allocated projects autonomously;
Input into the continuous improvement of suitable tools, systems and processes;
Complying with HSEQ, design and technical execution standards within area of specialisation;
Manage project budgets and schedules in conjunction with the engineering team and Project Managers;
Lead teams of engineers on technical project requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Senior: 5-7 years of experience in CSE and 5 years in a senior project execution role.
Lead: 10 years of experience in CSE and 5 years in a senior project execution role.
Experience in Renewable & Power companies such as APD, Zenith Energy, Pacific Energy, etc.
Experience with renewable energy projects is highly desirable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering – Recognized by Engineers Australia if obtained internationally.
