Experience Leader
A skilled and innovative professional to spearhead experience design initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to deliver high-impact services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead project teams to design and develop cutting-edge experiences and services for strategic ventures and initiatives.
* Translate stakeholder briefs into design-led activities and projects, distilling strategic insights from qualitative and quantitative research to create compelling stories.
* Design and facilitate workshops to break down complex problems, identify opportunities, develop concepts, and make recommendations.
* Liaise with stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of their needs and requirements pertaining to staff or student-related initiatives.
* Apply polished visual communication skills to deliver strategic messages and concepts in a concise way.
* Engage with public communities and industry partners to describe and document their needs and expectations.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated 3+ years' experience as a designer leading project teams on experience, service, or strategic design projects.
* Capability in the development of design artefacts, including customer journeys, personas, and design principles.
* Demonstrated experience in conducting exploratory or generative research, including ethnographic research in support of new strategic directions for a large and complex organization.
* Demonstrated experience in secondary research, including case studies, comparative reviews, best practice standards, macro-environmental analysis.
* Ability to collaborate with quantitative analysts to develop a rich picture of attitudes, behaviors, and preferences.
* Demonstrates a human-centered design approach to understand and design for the customer.
* Strong experience designing for whole-of-organization systems that are consultative and encourage support and buy-in from diverse stakeholders.
