The opportunity
Our client, a well-established national manufacturing organisation, is seeking an
Operations Coordinator
to join their Cavan site. This is a key operational role providing support across
production, dispatch, procurement, transport, and inventory management
.
This role is ideal for candidates with
administration or operational experience
who are looking to broaden their exposure to multiple areas of manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, you'll ensure daily operations run smoothly by coordinating administrative and operational tasks across multiple functions.
Key responsibilities
* Manage freight of inwards goods and interstate transfers
* Purchase consumables and manage stock procurement for the site
* Issue and monitor maintenance work orders
* Assist with coordination of initiatives and operational projects
* Support scrap processing and other production support functions
* Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and legislative requirements
* Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting as required
About you
You are highly organised, process-oriented, and thrive in operational environments where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. You enjoy working across multiple functions and have strong communication skills.
You will also bring:
* Relevant operational/administrative qualification or equivalent experience
* Experience in operational support, administration, or coordination roles
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI, JDE, Sparks advantageous
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Customer service mindset and process-focused approach
* Knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes (desirable)
