Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Bathurst.
This role will involve providing strategic and operational workplace relations advice, partnering with Principals, Leaders, and employees to drive positive people outcomes across the Diocese.
You will be pivotal in fostering an engaged and capable workforce through effective leadership support, sound employee relations advice, and implementation of people and culture initiatives.
About the Role
* Strategic HR Partnership: Provide trusted guidance on all people-related matters including employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and organisational change.
* Employee Relations & Industrial Relations: Manage complex employee relations issues, lead investigations, and provide advice on awards, agreements, and legislative requirements.
* Organisational Development: Support and embed initiatives that drive cultural and organisational change, including the rollout of key people initiatives, policy implementation, and leadership capability development.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build collaborative relationships with Principals, Managers, and the CEDB Team to proactively support the delivery of HR solutions.
* Compliance & WHS: Promote safe work practices and support compliance with WHS legislation.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Formal qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience in providing high-level HR and IR advice in a complex or multi-site environment.
* Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
* Proven experience managing complex employee relations issues and facilitating positive outcomes.
* Knowledge of current employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks, and HR best practices.
* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
