**_Children's Supervisor_** to join their motivated team, working with the Residential Care Team your new role will be organise, co-ordinate and monitor upto 14 children aged 7-12 years before and after onsite school, overnight and across weekends including activities offsite, working a 72 hour fortnight. Private overnight accommodation is provided with ensuite.
This role would suit a Teacher or After School Program Teaching looking to make a difference in this unique opportunity!
**Your new role**:
- Exercise duty of care for upto 14 children and schedule, coordinate and assist in delivering planned enriching activities
- Work in partnership with the Wellbeing Team to deliver successful interventions
- Maintain timely records and keep upto date with all partnership notes
- Maintain observation of individual needs, encourage good relationships and manage behaviour
- Keep upto date with all policies and procedure and ensure they are implemented
**To be successful**:
- Degree qualification in education, nursing/health or child-related services
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams of health and educational professionals
- An interest in supporting the health and wellbeing of children from rural and remote parts of NSW
- Relevant experience in working with children and ideally knowledge of trauma informed practice
- The ability to work flexibly and autonomously when required
- Have a demonstrated ability to exercise judgment, maturity, initiative, and diplomacy
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current unrestricted NSW Class LR Driver's license or willingness to obtain one
- This role requires protection against vaccine specified preventable diseases
