About the role
This part-time Practice Nurse (RN or EN) role at the SA Regional Skin Cancer Clinic in Mount Barker, SA presents an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team providing exceptional patient care. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the clinic's operations and delivering high-quality nursing services to our patients.
What you'll be doing
* Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including wound management, suture removal, recalling patients and discussing results.
* Assisting the medical team with surgical procedures and examinations
* Managing clinic equipment and stock including sterilization of equipment.
* Coordinating the flow of patients through the clinic to ensure efficient service delivery
* Assisting with front of desk administration team when required.
* Promoting a positive and collaborative work environment
What we're looking for
* Part Time/Casual 9am-5pm Monday to Wednesday
* Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse qualifications
* Current AHPRA registration
* Strong clinical skills and a demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and professional development
* Experience with assisting in surgical procedures and instrument sterilization.
