**Your new role**
As the Design Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all design, drafting and close-out documentation is carried out accurately, cost effectively and in a timely manner to meet project requirements. The role will also require you to form and maintain client relationships whilst also identifying tender opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain involvement on projects from inception to hand over.
- Ensure that the design and drafting work meets the requirements of project specifications and associated standards.
- Effectively manage resources so that designs are completed within cost budgets.
- Ensure that designs meet project quality, safety and environmental requirements.
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with key clients, consultants and their representatives.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in design management of water infrastructures projects from beginning to completion
- Comprehensive experience in using drafting software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and 3D programs.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including Sharepoint, Outlook, Word and Excel
