Early Settler is a modern furniture and homeware retailer. We're looking for a Retail Consultant to join our store team and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ascertain customers' needs and recommend suitable products.
2. Maintain up‐to‐date product knowledge to accurately describe features and perks.
3. Upsell and cross‐sell, informing customers about sales and promotions.
4. Consistently provide exceptional customer service.
5. Demonstrate our values in every customer interaction.
6. Ensure store presentation aligns with Visual Merchandising guidelines.
7. Assist, resolve, or appropriately escalate all customer concerns in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Experience
8. At least 2 years of retail experience, preferably in home/lifestyle products.
9. Ability to engage customers and help them realize their home vision.
10. Confidence and ambition to exceed sales targets.
11. Exceptional communication skills and computer literacy.
12. Capacity to balance customer care with administrative duties.
13. Interest in home styling, furniture, or creating welcoming living spaces.

15. Physical ability to lift, carry, and move products of varying sizes.
16. Must be an Australian citizen, resident, or hold a valid visa to work in Australia.
