Business Analyst | Mining industry | Townsville | 6 month contract

A leading Australian based mining organisation with operations throughout the country is seeking a Business Analyst for an initial 6-month contract (with view to extend) to work on multiple projects. This role will be in the form of an initial FIFO working model with flights conducted from either Brisbane or Townsville.
Your new role
The Business Analyst has the opportunity to work on multiple projects, initially focused on a range of process analysis and improvement activities, which could broaden into projects looking at the data and analytics platform and PowerBI.
Due to the nature of this role, on-site visits to the mine site in Western QLD will be required. This will be in a FIFO capacity on a 4:3 roster (i.e., 4 days on, 3 days off) from either Brisbane or Townsville airports with all chartered flights, accommodation and meals provided for by the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
* Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst working on technology projects within the mining industry
* Strong process analysis, requirements gathering, documentation and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to travel FIFO either from Brisbane or Townsville (Townsville preferred)
