Area Sales Manager – Mobile Crushers & Screens

Job Opportunity
This role has been worked and supported for over 20+ years. The area manager has been working this territory and has successfully built it from the ground up. He has decided to take on a national role which we know requires a proven professional to take on this long‑standing territory and keep pushing to secure new business while managing the existing partnerships and accounts within the state of NSW. Your role is to focus on the relationships with companies such as Boral, Holcim, Hanson, Gun Lake, Daracon, Landscape, Sharidans, Supermix, Benidicts and many others. It comes down to you to understand each operation, provide expert advice on crushing optimisation and drive equipment numbers into this market. It is critical that you understand AGG flow and sizing of material as you will support the clients in shaping and sizing of road base to deliver the target that they require for their customers. This role will also cover other leading products and capital equipment sales.

As you can see, this role offers a full turnkey solution to the customer and it's down to you to deliver the best results to the plant or operation. You will be called upon to deliver highly technical equipment. Lucky for you, you have over 100 years' experience in the teams that will support you, but you must be able to articulate and offer a full turnkey solution to the customer. This is no easy task because you need to have balance and technical know‑how but also have the sales skills to close the projects and then deliver the best solution, whilst looking to secure parts, services, and full technical aftermarket support once the machine or product is delivered.

Candidate Requirements
* Crushing & Screening experience.
* Experience in Fixed Plant or Mobile, Parts, Aftermarket services – as long as you understand the technical application we would like to talk with you.
* Sales is key; you must have built and developed long‑term or short‑term relationships in equipment or services.
* Location – you can live anywhere within NSW; we have two offices in the Newcastle area and the other in Sydney.
* Willingness to travel and be away 5 to 10 days each month.
* Excellent numerical and mechanical engineering skills.
Salary Package
* Base Salary – $120,000 to $140,000
* Company Coms – 1% on New Equipment
* Product and internal systems training
* Company events and industry days
