About the Role
You'll teach English to students across relevant year levels, bringing creativity, strong pedagogy, and genuine care for young people.
You'll work as part of a collaborative English team committed to high expectations, student engagement, and delivering meaningful learning experiences.
You'll excel in this role if you :
Build positive, respectful relationships with students and colleagues
Have a sound knowledge and understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements
Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage diverse learners
Are organised, flexible and confident working within a busy school setting
Provide timely assessment, feedback and academic support to students
Actively contribute to faculty planning and collaboration
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with Australian Curriculum and College expectations
Maintain accurate assessment, reporting and classroom documentation
Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to plan units, assessments and moderation
Communicate professionally with students, families and staff
Contribute to broader school life as appropriate for a part-time position
