ThinkSpatial is seeking experienced Senior Construction Surveyors and project surveyors to join our growing team delivering major construction projects across the Gold Coast and South East Queensland.
This role offers exposure across a wide range of project disciplines including civil, structures, utilities, and roadworks throughout the full construction lifecycle. We are looking for motivated survey professionals who take ownership of their work, can operate independently, and want to continue developing their technical and leadership capabilities within the construction sector.
Reporting directly to the Site Survey Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day survey operations, site coordination, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing survey site resources and daily field operations
* Preparing, setting out, and validating construction survey data
* Managing and maintaining survey and as-built datasets
* Processing and reporting as-built information
* Liaising with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
* Ensuring survey deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule
* Supporting quality assurance and project documentation requirements
* Mentoring junior surveyors where required
About You
* Previous experience in a Senior Construction Surveyor or Survey Data Management role
* Strong understanding of construction workflows and site operations
* Experience with survey data processing and as-built reporting
* Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A proactive attitude, practical problem-solving ability, and solid work ethic
* Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Experience across civil infrastructure, structures, utilities, and roadworks projects will be highly regarded.
