Responsibilities
Fulfill the role at the Front Counter by greeting customers, directing customer calls to appropriate staff members, consulting with customers, processing retail sales, handling cash and banking as required, preparing paperwork for logistics staff, and performing any other duties that may be required from time to time.
Experience
The Front Counter Salesperson is ideally required to have a minimum of five years’ experience in:
1. Sales in the Timber Industry and/or a Carpentry / Building background (preferred but not essential)
2. Previous Sales/Customer Service experience
3. Excellent interpersonal skills
4. Great phone manner
5. Experience in using Excel and Point of Sale systems
