Allied Health Clinical Educator, Digital Health (Grade 3)

About the Role
This is a Permanent Part-Time position at 45.6 hours per fortnight within the Allied Health Clinical Education team.
You will be responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating high quality education activities with a key focus on the RCH Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and the Learning Management System (LMS). You will be an active member of the Allied Health Clinical Education Team and provide leadership, direction and support to all Allied Health Departments in digital health education, training and professional development.
Classification for this position will range from Grade 3 Year 1 to Grade 3 Year 4 (classification code determined by your Alied Health professional background) (EFT base salary $104,135 to $118,981 per annum, plus superannuation)
What you’ll achieve:
* Contribute to the strategic utilisation of Digital Health across Allied Health.
* Provide leadership, training and support in Digital Health education and use of the EMR to RCH Allied Health Managers and staff.
* Support Allied Health clinical education initiatives, in collaboration with the Allied Health Clinical Education Lead, Director Allied Health, Associate Director Allied Health and Allied Health Managers.
* Establish connections across the Parkville Precinct, Local Health Service Network, tertiary partners, industry partners (EPIC) and other key stakeholders for networking, resource-sharing and collaboration opportunities.
* Apply education design principals to develop and deliver engaging learner centred education materials for staff, interns and students.
Your skills and experience
* An accredited qualification in one of the Allied Health Therapy or Science professions at RCH.
* Eligibility for professional registration with AHPRA (where required) or appropriate professional body (where applicable).
* Experience in providing clinical services as an Allied Health professional in a tertiary hospital.
* Experience in developing, delivering and evaluating education/training programs for clinical staff, interns and/or students.
* Significant previous experience in EPIC functionality as a Digital Champion, EMR Super User or Builder.

About the Department
The Allied Health Clinical Education Team sits within the Division of Ambulatory Servies and reports to the Associate Director Allied Health. The Team supports education and training across all Allied Health Therapy and Science professions at RCH, including staff, intern and student education.
