The Company
A civil construction company with a proven track record of delivering a pipeline of works with council covering complex civil projects in Streetscaping, Pavements & Drainage, Roads Upgrades, Bridges, Laneways and Intersections.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising a crew of skilled workers, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conducting regular site inspections to identify any potential safety hazards or quality issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including daily reports and timesheets.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Leading Hand role within the civil construction industry.
- Civil experience across earthworks, asphalt, roads and concreting
- Excavator/Machinery Tickets (Current)
- Leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
