The Opportunity
An established and highly regarded cost consultancy, operating successfully in Western Australia for more than two decades, is expanding its team.
With a strong pipeline of secured work and over 50 active projects ranging from $10M to $70M, this firm continues to build its reputation across a broad spectrum of construction sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an AIQS-qualified Quantity Surveyor to contribute to both project delivery and the ongoing success of the business.

The Role
Working closely with senior leadership and clients, you will be involved across the entire project lifecycle — delivering both pre-contract and post-contract services.
This role offers the opportunity to manage your own projects (where appropriate), while also collaborating within a knowledgeable and supportive team.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be trusted to play a key role in delivering reliable cost advice and helping ensure projects remain financially on track from concept through to completion.
Drive Cost Planning & Project Strategy
* Develop accurate cost plans, budgets and feasibility estimates across a range of projects
* Measure quantities and build detailed cost models from drawings and documentation
* Provide proactive cost advice to support smarter project and design decisions
* Identify commercial risks, cost pressures and value improvement opportunities early
Take Ownership of Financial Oversight
* Review and assess contractor progress claims with confidence and independence
* Price and evaluate variations, ensuring fair and accurate commercial outcomes
* Monitor project budgets, track cost movement and provide clear financial updates
* Assist clients in maintaining cost certainty and achieving successful project delivery
Be Involved Where It Matters
* Prepare Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
* Contribute to cost benchmarking and internal knowledge databases
* Support cashflow forecasting and financial planning
* Work across multiple projects, gaining valuable and diverse experience
About You
* AIQS accredited (or working towards accreditation)
* Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying
* Experience delivering a broad range of cost management services
* Proficient in CostX (highly regarded) and strong Excel capability
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Exposure to services cost management
