You will partner with Commodities and Global Markets teams to drive a strong risk culture across Technology at Macquarie.
As part of our Corporate Operations Group, you will work with diverse people who empower each other to shape all kinds of possibilities.
What role will you play?
In this role, you will manage Technology Risk effectively in line with Macquarie's Operational Risk Management Frameworks and associated policies. You'll collaborate with the Technology team and senior business stakeholders to identify operational issues and advise on proposed responses.
You will lead discussions around operational risk incident investigations, identifying root causes, breakdowns in controls, and assess strategic solutions to prevent re-occurrence. Additionally, you will conduct controls assurance reviews, risk workshops, technology risk-related training, and participate in any other ad hoc risk discussions as required.
You will also support tactical and strategic risk initiatives to meet business demands through thoughtful partnership. You will use data analytics tools to automate control testing and help drive a strong risk culture within the team.
What you offer
* Previous experience with operational risk management, assurance experience, or data analytics is essential.
* Experience in process automation, coding or analytics, particularly Alteryx/Power BI or SQL.
* Ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders across global regions and effectively challenge the business.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* Practical understanding of implementing risk and control frameworks to manage non-financial risks in highly regulated contexts.
