We are looking for a talented Quantitative Developer to join our clients team and help build robust, high-performance systems that help drive investment decisions, advice and risk analysis. About the Role Position Objective As a Quantitative Developer, you will collaborate closely with quantitative analysts, researchers and other investment professionals to develop, enhance, and support data models, analytical tools, and investment systems. Your work will be instrumental in enabling data-driven decision-making and ensuring infrastructure scales efficiently with business needs. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain quantitative models and tools in collaboration with quants and data scientists. Build and support scalable, high-performance codebases for use in investment analytics functions, charts, data visualisations, dashboards, and dynamic reports. Work within our Technology team to “industrialize” and optimize prototype tools and contribute to the enterprise architecture for a fully functional Cloud-based enterprise application suite. Work on end-to-end implementation of pricing models, risk analytics, and market data integration. Optimise and refactor existing code to enhance performance, reliability, and usability. Translate mathematical and statistical models into efficient and maintainable code. Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation. Key Requirements Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. Experience in quantitative development within a financial services firm. Strong programming skills in Python, with exposure to C++, C#, or Java a plus. Familiarity with statistical computing and numerical libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, SciPy). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software engineering best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of SQL and working with large-scale data sets.
