The Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will be a commercially minded, results-driven qualified with proven experience in driving revenue growth. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding relationship-building skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to lead the sales process from lead generation through to contract handover. This person will thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and be motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales performance to meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Lead the sales process from lead qualification through to contract handover.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to build new business and maintain existing client relationships.
- Deliver effective presentations and tailored proposals to prospective clients.
- Oversee accurate use of CRM systems and reporting of sales data.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technical developments, and competitor activity.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support across the sales function.
- Strong sales acumen with demonstrated ability to achieve targets.
- Proven negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving ability.
- High-level organisational and planning capability.
- Customer-focused with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Commercially minded with strong business acumen.
- Proficient in CRM systems and data-driven reporting.
- Motivated, resilient, and results oriented.
- Professional, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience

- Proven track record of success in a sales management role, preferably within the pool, spa, construction. construction supplier or technical/tool supplier related industry.
- Tertiary education in business or Project Management desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service and account management.
- Marketing oversight or understanding advantageous.
- Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence
