Speech Therapist Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families/support network to identify strengths, areas of need, and develop support strategies that build capabilities and work with participant's interests.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet participants in their community setting to work on transferrable skills that shape their everyday lives.
* Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to support individuals on the autism spectrum.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support services.
* Provide education and training to families and support networks on how to support individuals with autism.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in speech pathology.
* Membership with the Speech Pathology Australia or willingness to obtain.
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across your local community.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
* Working with Children Check for paid employment.
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' certificate.
