Amazon is seeking an experienced Strategic Partnerships Manager (SPM) to support the growth of AWS's most strategic partners as part of the Strategic Partner Collaboration and Governance (SPCG) team. A Strategic Partnership Manager (SPM) is a passionate advocate and driving force behind transformative initiatives that reshape our partners’ businesses, technologies, and organizational cultures.

The role is responsible for delivering partner/customer transformation aligned with APJ AGS strategic priorities and objectives defined in our Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with partners across APJ. This leader will develop business cases, analyze project goals, create implementation plans, and drive AWS team members, stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and partners to achieve those goals.

SPMs aim to drive comprehensive and accelerated partner transformation across Build, Market, Sell, and Grow levers. They track key performance indicators, support project success, and communicate updates to stakeholders and business leaders. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment, with a passion for delivering results and strong problem-solving skills.

To execute goals, SPMs define and co-own GTM strategy for their partner portfolio, its implementation, and governance in collaboration with the #One Partner team. They also co-own GTM (Go to Green) and tactical plans, managing risks and opportunities related to SCA goals.

An SPM drives cross-organizational impact through ownership of strategic projects, such as developing SCA Prioritization Tenets to focus efforts on SCA-led transformation. They provide SMEship to optimize partner engagements, find elegant solutions to complex engagements, and standardize best practices globally.


Key job responsibilities

1. Deliver SCA Revenue targets for assigned engagements (typically 4-5 partners with large transformation potential)
2. Build and orchestrate partner-led GTM/Sales Plays to deliver pipeline and input goals
3. Develop Partner Capability including Competency and Solution development, aligned with #One Partner team goals
4. Develop and manage project governance plans (QBRs, EBCs), schedules, team goals, success criteria, and milestones

Minimum qualifications

* Bachelor's degree
* Experience developing strategies influencing leadership decisions
* 15+ years of professional experience with 5+ years in business agreements
* Extensive partner management and/or GTM/Sales experience in Cloud industry
* Program management across cross-functional teams
* Data analysis and business recommendation skills
* Experience negotiating complex legal agreements
