The Opportunity As a Production Officer/Agitator Driver, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of concrete to our customers.
Operating our specialised agitator vehicles, you will ensure the timely and safe transportation of concrete from our plants to construction sites.
This role requires a keen attention to safety, a strong sense of responsibility, and a dedication to delivering exceptional service.
Promote and enforce safety and environmental processes and protocols to meet performance outcomes Produce concrete using multiple systems and processes Allocate and assign loads to drivers as well as coordinate truck arrivals & departures at sites Manage stock and coordinate deliveries Assist contractors with site maintenance Maintain the yard, operate front end loaders, shovel and manually handle bagged products Administer various computer software applications (training provided) Safely operate agitator trucks to deliver concrete to multiple locations Follow prescribed delivery schedules to ensure timely site deliveries Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or safety issues Comply with all traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record Adhere to health and safety guidelines both on the road and at job sites Provide excellent customer service and build positive client relationships Maintain accurate records of deliveries and paperwork Please note this role is a 2 year fixed term contract based at campsite accommodation between Mudgee/Ulan for a project.
About You To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience: Valid and clean HR driver's licence Proven experience as a professional driver with a minimum of 6 months on road HR experience, ideally with experience operating agitator trucks (not essential) Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws Physical ability to load and unload concrete as necessary Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage time efficiently A strong commitment to safety and responsible driving practices Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and public holidays, if required Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company Training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge A positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and teamwork Access to the latest technology and equipment in the industry As part of a global company, Holcim offers long term career paths along with a variety of training and development opportunities.
