About the Role: As a Social Worker (AHP1), you will work under the direct supervision of an experienced clinician to provide a broad range of health services tailored to the needs of your community. You will contribute to care using a mix of preventative, early intervention, therapeutic, and evaluative approaches, including individual and group therapy. Working in a multi-professional team, you will collaborate across sectors to support the wellbeing of clients and families. As a Social Worker (AHP2), you will apply your clinical knowledge and experience to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive range of services in a rural or remote setting. Working with greater autonomy, you will also contribute to the clinical supervision of students, assistants, and junior staff. Your role will include leadership in service coordination, driving improvements and innovation in care delivery, and strengthening integrated community partnerships. Across both levels, you will play a vital role in improving access to care and supporting the resilience of rural communities—where your work truly matters. What We’re Looking For: Must hold a recognised qualification within the Social Work profession and be eligible for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). As a self-regulated profession, it is desirable to participate in the AASW Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accreditation program.
