Heavy Equipment Operator
Cement Australia's East End Mine, located just outside of Gladstone, requires a multi-skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join their production team.
This permanent full-time role involves operating and monitoring a range of mobile and fixed plant equipment safely and efficiently.
* Operate various heavy equipment such as Rigid Haul Trucks, Front End Loaders, and excavators.
* Complete pre-start inspections, basic maintenance, repairs, and routine reporting on equipment condition and safety performance.
* Participate in toolbox meetings, maintain housekeeping, and support production targets.
* Work to site procedures, comply with QLD Mining and Quarrying Safety & Health Act and Regulations.
The successful candidate will have certification and experience in relevant heavy machinery operation, prioritization skills, and high-risk licenses.
* Experience in stacker / reclaimer systems and rail loadouts is highly desirable.
* A strong mining, quarrying, or civil construction background is essential.
Roster:
* Rotating 5/4/5 Day/Night shift (even time roster) including night shift coverage when required.
