Maven Dental Samuel Street is looking for a passionate, energetic Dental Assistant to join our friendly team in a full-time role.This full-time role offers a 9-day fortnight, including one evening shift and the occasional Saturday.Job DescriptionYou'll be a key part of our clinical team, providing chairside assistance, delivering exceptional patient care, maintaining high infection control standards, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Every day is varied, fast-paced, and rewarding.What you will do:Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.Reception duties: process payments, manage front reception, and provide exceptional patient serviceQualificationsWhat we're looking for:A warm, reliable and motivated Dental AssistantExcellent communication and patient care skillsAbility to thrive in a team-focused environmentDental assisting experience preferredCert III in Dental Assisting is highly regardedAdditional InformationWhy you'll love working with us:Supportive, fun, and professional team culturePart of the trusted Maven Dental networkModern practice with advanced technologyFull-time stability with consistent hoursOngoing training and career development opportunitiesWe know your time is valuable, so we've made the first step quick and easy.
