The Role:Provide clients with a professional and confidential reception service through the Switchboard, Main Reception, and Emergency Department Reception, including immediate attention to patients presenting for treatment.Handle all administrative functions related to emergency admissions and after-hours direct admissions.The Team:The Switchboard Department operates 24/7 across three shifts: 7am - 3pm (Day), 3pm - 11pm (Afternoon), and 11pm - 7am (Night). Night shifts are in the Emergency Department, covering Switchboard and Emergency Triage duties. Responsibilities include booking visitors' units, completing On Call Rosters, greeting new and locum doctors, and providing accommodation keys. Additional duties may include reception at main reception, internal mail clerk, and Parkside reception coverage. Applicants should consider their availability for short-notice shifts across all times and may work at both North West Regional Hospital and Mersey Community Hospital.
