This is a recruitment pool for Permanent and Fixed Term appointments at various hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.
South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) offers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services. Peel Health Campus is a general hospital located in Mandurah, 75 km south of Perth, with 206 licensed beds and various treatment areas. The Emergency Department (ED) provides care for adult and paediatric presentations and offers opportunities to rotate through and specialise in areas such as acute assessment and resuscitation, rapid care for less urgent presentations, and observation and short-term treatment under the emergency medical team.
Responsibilities
* As part of a multidisciplinary team, provide clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients.
* Facilitate and promote patient safety and quality of care.
* Practice within the scope of practice as per the Nursing and Midwifery Board's Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
Qualifications & Experience
* Senior nurses to join the team; willingness to grow, lead and innovate.
* Experience in Emergency Department settings and ability to rotate through and specialise in ED areas.
