**About Mindful - Centre for Training and Research in Developmental Health**

Mindful - Centre for training and Research in Developmental Health is funded by the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services and auspiced by the University of Melbourne. It provides professional development training to the child development industry, including one
- and two-year courses enrolling hundreds of students annually.

Mindful is the lead agency for the early intervention studies associated with the Tuning into Kids suite of programs, and the evaluation of these programs is the key component of Mindful research activities, including the supervision of Masters and PhD students.

**About the Role**

An exciting opportunity is available for a Course Administrator, to provide vital support to a range of administrative functions in the delivery of multiple courses at Mindful.

In collaboration with the Victorian Director, Advanced Training Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, the Course Administrator will work autonomously to administer all aspects of the courses, from first response to course enquiries through enrolment, timetabling, organisation of supervisors, setup of weekly classes (face to face and online), maintenance of the online Learning Management System (Canvas) and assist the Director of Advanced Training in management of diary, training queries and InTrain.

Responsibilities include:

- Provision of administrative support to the Victorian Director, Advanced Training Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in course preparation
- Responsibility for all aspects of the student administration for the following courses:

- Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Course (CAPC)
- Introduction to Infant Mental Health
- With the administrative team, share responsibility for reception duties, mail collection and distribution, venue bookings, stationery orders or other general administration tasks as required
- The provision of occasional executive assistance to the Centre Manager and Centre Director

**About You**

You are an experienced professional with a passion for customer service. You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and possess high-level organisation and time management skills. You're able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks, with the flexibility to manage competing demands. You will be able to utilise your exceptional verbal and written communication skills to relate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, at different levels of the organisation.

You will also have:

- Completion of a degree, (or completion of a diploma qualification and subsequent relevant work experience; completion of a Certificate IV and extensive relevant work experience, or completion of a post-trades certificate and extensive relevant experience), or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Expertise in the use of Zoom videoconferencing for large group meetings, preferably in an educational setting, with the ability to provide guidance or assistance to presenters and students if required.
- To ensure the University continues to provide a safe environment for everyone, this position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check._
