We are seeking an enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisor to join our team and help deliver outstanding dining experiences to our patrons.
This is a part‑time role, 30‑hours per week with opportunities for additional hours, and reports to our Restaurant Manager.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Lead and coach the restaurant team to deliver friendly, efficient service at a high standard
* Manage shift operations in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager to ensure efficient and cost‑effective service without compromising customer satisfaction
* Be the first point of contact for guests
* Work closely with the Kitchen team to ensure timely, high‑quality service and presentation is delivered to all customers
* Assist the Restaurant Manager with staff engagement, motivation, management and rostering
* Monitor and control costs e.g. labour, wastage and stock while maintaining service quality
* Ensure the safety and comfort of all persons, patrons and staff on the premises
What We're Looking For:
* 1‑year previous experience working within a similar role or fast‑paced restaurants
* Previous supervisory experience desired however not essential, candidates ready to take the next step in their careers will be considered
* Current RSA and RSG or willingness to obtain
* Excellent communicator with an ability to lead a hands‑on team
* Be a problem solver with an ability to make decisions on the go
* Maintain high customer service standards through leading by example
* Knowledge and understanding of cash handling and food safety regulations
* Ability to work a range of shifts throughout a 7‑day a week roster, including weekends
