Role Overview
Located in Adelaide's Outer Harbor and reporting directly to the Marine Services Team Leader you will work as part of a team to provide marine services to vessels and meet maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and operate Flinders Ports launches for pilot transfer, minor maintenance and servicing of main engines and ancillary equipment.
* Prepare statistics and reports of craft activities and performance.
* Assist with maintenance of port assets as required (i.e. wharf and navigation aids).
* Use oil pollution response equipment as necessary under the direction of Transport SA or Flinders Ports emergency response coordinators.
* Mooring of Vessels.
About you
* Master Class V Certificate of Competency
* Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 of Competency
* Administrative experience and robust computer literacy
* Ability and experience working both independently and in teams
* High level of attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
* Current Drivers Licence
Desirable
* Trade Qualification and/or understanding of Electrical systems.
