About the Role Reporting into senior leadership and working closely with the board, this role will take ownership of the entire national sales and marketing function. The business currently has a national sales team spread across Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, alongside an internal marketing function. The foundations are in place, they now need an experienced leader to bring greater structure, alignment, accountability and strategic direction across both teams. You’ll be responsible for leading performance, refining the go-to-market strategy, improving pipeline management, strengthening reseller relationships and helping optimise the launch and growth of a new range. This role will suit a commercially minded sales and marketing leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, improving structure and driving growth within an entrepreneurial and fast-moving environment. Day to Day Lead and manage the national sales and marketing teams Drive revenue growth, sales performance and profitability Develop and execute national go-to-market strategies Optimise the existing reseller and distributor model Support the launch and growth of new product categories and revenue streams Work closely with marketing on content direction, campaigns and brand positioning Improve pipeline visibility, forecasting and reporting Travel nationally to support customers and spend time with the sales team in market About You Proven experience leading sales teams across multiple locations or channels Strong commercial acumen with exposure to pricing, margins and growth strategy Experience bringing structure, process and accountability into growing businesses Comfortable leading both sales and marketing functions Strong leadership capability with the ability to mentor and elevate team performance Hands-on and proactive leadership style Experience within wholesale, distribution, construction, electrical, HVAC, building products or related industries will be highly regarded Willingness to travel nationally as required What’s on Offer A generous salary package, including a car or car allowance, plus a healthy incentive National leadership role with genuine influence Opportunity to shape the next growth phase of the business Collaborative and down-to-earth leadership team Flexibility on location — preference for Sydney, though Melbourne or Canberra will also be considered If you’re looking for an opportunity to step into a commercially influential leadership role where you can genuinely make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
