About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Family and Domestic Violence Coordinator. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be working with families and individuals affected by family and domestic violence, providing support and guidance to ensure their safety and well-being.
The role involves performing daily triage processes for FDV incident reports occurring over weekends and public holidays in the Kimberley region, working collaboratively across the Kimberley with other Out of Hours Coordinators to cover weekend triage requirements, participating remotely in the daily joint triage of FDV Incident Reports with Police and DCP, delivering responses remotely via phone, email, and referral submissions, and providing risk assessment, safety planning, and appropriate responses for families and individuals affected by FDV.
This is a part-time (15 hours per week) position available on a maximum-term contract until 30 June 2027, working weekends and public holidays. The successful candidate can work remotely from anywhere in the state.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform daily triage process for FDV incident reports occurring over weekends and public holidays in the Kimberley region.

Requirements:
* Tertiary degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline, with specialist knowledge and experience relevant to the position.
* Experience in assessing and managing risk and supporting clients affected by FDV, ideally including with individuals and families in Indigenous communities.
* Knowledge of current theories, practice, and literature in the area of FDV.
