Automation Engineer (QA) - Contract
6-month contract | $850-$900 per day | Melbourne-based (Hybrid)
A leading digital organisation is seeking an experienced
Automation Engineer
to join a high-performing delivery team on a 6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Build, uplift and maintain test automation frameworks
* Increase automation coverage and reduce manual testing
* Support CI/CD pipelines and stabilise test environments
* Coach team members on automation best practices
* Ensure high-quality releases across web, mobile and API platforms
Key Skills & Experience
* 5+ years' experience in automation testing within Agile environments
* Strong experience with Playwright or Cypress using
TypeScript
* API automation experience (e.g. SuperTest, Jest, Mocha, Karate)
* Strong JavaScript/TypeScript programming skills
* CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
* Experience with Docker and cloud environments (AWS desirable)
* Gambling industry experience
