The primary objective of this role is to oversee the maintenance function, ensuring the property remains safe, operational, and guest-ready at all times.
As a key member of the operations team, you will work closely with internal teams to deliver maintenance services according to contractual commitments and hotel needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate outsourced Repairs & Maintenance and Health & Safety services
* Oversee daily reactive and preventative maintenance operations
* Review, approve, and prioritise work orders
* Monitor job progress and escalate delays
* Communicate outages and room status changes with other teams
* Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas
* Maintain maintenance documentation and reporting dashboards
About You:
You should have 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
* Experience in coordinating outsourced contractors
* Strong understanding of maintenance workflows and systems
* Able to manage budgets and review invoices
* Solid knowledge of WHS standards and risk management
