Indigenous Engagement Professional Opportunity

As an Indigenous Engagement Professional, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining complex relationships with local stakeholders, providing strategic advice and specialist expertise across a range of activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic advice and specialist expertise across a broad range of activities including economic empowerment programs and initiatives
* Develop and maintain complex internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
* Manage the resolution of issues or complaints and undertake complex procedural, administrative and service-related tasks that support business activities
* Understand remote communities by gathering and analysing relevant data to assess the impacts and outcomes for Indigenous Australians
* Conduct research and analysis on complex matters within area of expertise and exercise appropriate delegations to ensure decisions are governed by regulations, best practice principles or operating instructions and procedures
Requirements:
* Oversee the development, coaching and mentoring of staff and provide succession planning by investing time into understanding team member's strengths and aspirations
* Exercise sound decision making and judgement to produce high level policy advice and provide leadership and effectively supervise staff to achieve branch outcomes and strategic directions
* Ability to provide constructive management with a focus on capability development, team building and leadership
* Ensure compliance, identification and mitigation of risks to programs, stakeholders and other projects
* Lead a team of professionals to plan and deliver work program across a particular region or group of First Nations communities
